I study Soviet Jewish culture through Yiddish-language sources, archival research, historical network analysis, and computational methods.
My doctoral project investigates the networks through which the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee operated between 1942 and 1948—within Soviet cultural institutions and across wartime transnational connections. Drawing on archives, correspondence, and the Yiddish newspaper Eynikayt, I combine close reading with historical network analysis, prosopography, and text analysis.
Yiddish is a central source language in my research. I work with the Soviet Jewish press, literary networks, and archival materials connected with the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee. My digital practice includes corpus building, text encoding, web scraping, network analysis, and the structured exploration of periodicals such as Eynikayt.
